Default Lemon Juice? Induction Friendly?

Hey all- I'm wondering if lemon juice is ok to have during induction. I was thinking about making some lemonade once in a while when im craving something tangy\sweet. Lemon juice\water, maybe even a little splenda? Is that ok?

Thanks!

While small amounts of lemon juice are ok on induction, I am afraid the amount needed to make lemonade would be too much. If any of the stores near you carry a product called Fruit2O, you could have that instead. You need to make sure, however, that you don't count it in your water consumption, and you count it against your Splenda intake.

Default Re: Lemon Juice? Induction Friendly?

I bought the little squeezy things of lemon, lime, and keylime juices and just measured a tbl to add a little difference in my water. Keep track of the carbs, though. It may not be lemonade as you would like it, but it's friendly to Induction and gives your water some flavor to drink it down.

Ps...don't forget juices such as these and tomato are added in later during OWL, that's why I would recommend just using the smallest portion of any of the lemon/lime in your water.

Some people find a slice of cucumber or sprig of mint adds a pleasant flavour to plain old water.
