| (((kiera))) birth control *does* have some impact on yeast. Head over to the candida board... You may have just regular flu or something similar, and of course it might be the cheese or something *in* the cheese. Some cheeses contain antibiotics, some contain nitrates, some contain coloring agents... yemenitegreen

| There's a quiz in the candida board.. it's one of the first posts after stickies. It gives you a rating that is an estimate of your body's symptoms of candida (not a diagnosis of course)... and one of the stickies talks about a "spit test" that seems to work. Check those out...

How long have you been on induction and how long have these symptoms been around? these are things you must ask. You should also go through Dr. Atkins questions in the book regarding possible yeast problems and see how many you answer yes to.

| The "Induction Flu" shouldn't give you a runny nose. It's called "flu" due to the general fatigue and "blah" feeling you have. But there is no fever, runny nose, sore throat, cough, etc. associated with it. I would recommend that you see your physician and get checked out for whatever this might be.
