| Sugarless gum generally contains sugar alcohols and is not carb-free. IT's between 1 and 2 carbs per stick, I think. You might try chewing a half of a stick once a day if you absolutely have to have gum. But try to cut back considerably. You are allowed to have a few sweet treats now and then, so get yourself some sugar free jello or make some of the recipes on the recipe forum if you want to give yourself something sweet occasionally.

| I chew the Orbits gum and count it as one serving of sweetner for the day. It worked last time, I lost 30 pounds. You could cut them in half if you need to have it more than once a day.

| I've always been a fan of cinnamon gum, so I buy Altoids sugar-free cinnamon chewing gum. It comes in a nifty tin and is not made with aspartame. It has a super strong cinnamon flavor, and best of all, one serving is TWO pieces...so I only chew one piece... ~JoAnne |
