| I tried lots of new recipes when I was doing induction. This is a great website with induction friendly recipes. I especially liked the chicken/sausage casserole http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/ Off the top of my head... pork chops - a whole batch made ahead for easy carting and snacking of course the mock danish - with a dab of unusual flavorings, like cherry salmon patties made with 2 eggs and a can of salmon tuna fish patties made with 2 eggs and a can of tuna cut up jicama for snacking on front of the tv pepperoni slices nuked with a mozerrella cheese stick on top scallops grilled with butter, garlic, lemon, and bacon oyster stew hamburgers grilled with mushrooms and a slice of swiss raw veggies - i liked turnips, green peppers, radishes, cabbage boiled eggs and bacon slices mini omelets baked in a muffin pan beef jerky meat balls cauliflower rice After induction I added spaghettic squash which is a fabulous substitute for pasta. In fact, I prefer it. Keep going. As you adjust to ketosis your cravings for other foods will fade and you will find yourself craving the Atkins staples. |
