| Sounds good Derek! Make sure you also have your 3 cups of veggies from the allowed list through the day - with enough fat (butter/oil/mayo etc) if the meats are lean,

| Me neither Sheila!! I even fry it and break it into small pieces as a snack if the dish I am making calls for skinless chicken instead of throwing it away like I used to BA!!

| Derek, I'm always a little bit concerned when someone writes that they are hungry or starving to the ADBB. You never have to starve on Atkins. In fact, your success hinges on convincing your body that it is being consistently nourished enough to safely release its fat stores. So plan ahead and never let your body get to the point where it is screaming for food. I really think that was one of the reasons why I had such a weight problem all my life. Before Atkins I skipped meals, I never planned ahead, I starved my body then binged. Over and over again. I realize now that my body reacted to this torture the only way it could. By clamping down and storing everything it could and never letting anything go. So make sure you are eating plenty of foods from the acceptable food lists at consistent intervals throughout the day. Prevent those starving moments. |
