| Hi Jenn! Ohh do I know how hard it is! but just stick to the foods you can eat! Tyr not to cheat..I am not the best for saying this as I started over cause I cheated on my 6th day! but let me tell you I SOOO regret it! because now I am backed up six days! If you feel too tired don't work out as much until you feel better, in my opinion concentrate on your eating 1st. Soon after your body detox of carbs & sugar addictions you will feel SOOOO good! I know I feel great! keep up the good work and keep posting it helps alot! plus there are really great people here!

| Jenn: Hang in there. For me after day three, everything started to get much better. This is my third time around and I am now in week six, which by the way is the longest I have ever managed to stick to a healthier way of eating in the last ten years. As far as the pepper jack goes, I think as long as it is aged and full fat that you are OK. My DH is on the diet and that is the only kind of cheese he will eat. He has lost more weight than I have. Drink plenty of water because this helps with the Induction flu which sounds like what you are experiencing. |

| Hi and welcome. You're going through the induction flu. Just think, your body is detoxing from all the nasty stuff. Don't push yourself in terms of exercise while you're going through this. Just do what you can. The good news is, it will pass and you'll feel better then ever. Pepperjack cheese is acceptable during induction. Just watch that you don't go over the daily cheese limit. Give the ingredients a read on your pepperoni just to make sure it doesn't contain sugar and/or starches. Good for you for counting the carbs in it. There are lots of great stickies in the induction forum including a printable acceptable food list that you can keep handy until you find your book. We use the 2002 edition around here. So, follow the rules of induction, drink your water, take your supplements and you'll be another ADBB success story! Looks like you're well on your way! |

| I hear you on failing around day 8, Jennifer. In the past I usually fail around day 12. Today is day Day 13 of my newest induction. Wow, I haven't counted until I saw your post. I think the difference for me this time, is that I have two very motivating goals and am looking at the next 3 months, not the first 2 weeks. For me to lose the rest of my 97 pounds, I need to make this a WOL as well as exercise. It isn't short-term for me anymore. I've realized that this has to be a long-term committ because I KNOW that it works for me. Do look long-term and you might relax about the 14 days (I know I have) Good luck and stay strong! |
