| If it's not a fat or a protein, it's a carb. If it's a carb, you've gotta count it.

| But I have no way of knowing how many carbs they are. How do I found out. It's just pills. Renee

| The bottle should tell you. If the bottle doesn't tell you (although ??), then head for fitday and enter it in and/or list them here and someone may be able to help

| Renee-- I'm going to go ahead and be nosy and ask what are you taking? If it is pill form, usually the amount is so miniscule that it won't matter (especially if there are no fillers or added flavorings). Still, if you are wondering what the carb counts for herbs and spices are in the 'nude', I hope this helps! Scroll to the bottom of the page of this link for carb counts for herbs and spices

| No problem, Cleo. I'm taking: Vitex 1000 mg (for PCOS resulting in irregular cycles) Fenugreek 1000 mg (for diabetes) Cinnamon 1000 mg (also diabetes) Chromium Picolinate 1200 mcg (also diabetes) Renee

| None of these are like cooking herbs and I'm sure they must have some carbs, but I'm not sure if it's significant enough to count. Renee

Chromium is a mineral. You have to read the bottle and see what the nutritional info is. Many pills/tablets contain cornstarch or some kind of grain starch as a vehicle for the pill. I don't know what Vitex is, but again, read the bottles or ask the pharmacist for help.

| I knew the Cinnamon was as soon as I posted that reply (I don't know what I was thinking)! Fenugreek, I did some research and found it was recommended for blood sugar, so I didn't know it's used in cooking. Renee
