| I think I lost around 10lbs in my first week. But it was so long ago I can't really remember. Rich

| There are so many variables, and it wholly depends on things such as metabolism, amount of total weight to lose, water, exercise, you name it! You're doing very well so far! 6 pounds is really grand! {{{sonyia}}}

So, my advice is if you lose 10 pounds or if you lose 5, be happy that those pounds are gone forever and that every ounce and every 1/4 inch you lose is that much closer you are to your goal.

| The most I've heard is 21 but she exercised an hour a day, Drank 128 ounces of water a day (equal to like 16 cups), and did 15 carbs instead of 20.

| Exactly what Megs has said. Everyone is different. One thing you can use is the amount of weight lost during Induction as a guide to your metabolic resistance to burning fat as a fuel source. Some people are more difficult in getting ketosis ramped up into burning mainly fat for fuel. At 5 pounds for the first, you are doing well. Comparing yourself to others losses before or after you is counterproductive as there are too many individual differences. The main goal of the first 14 days is to get you and your eating well under control.

| 6 pounds WOW that is almost 14% of the amount you need to lose and you still got 4 days to go you are doing great! For Kent to match your great loss he would have had to lose 28 pounds.
