| Chapter 8 in DANDR(2002), page 75-76 Dr. Atkins states that during induction your primary source of fiber will be vegetables. Check out this chapter. The good Dr. reccommends psyllium husks daily, this will keep you regular. |

| Dr. Atkins recommended 1 tablespoon of psyllium hulls daily. Be sure and select the sugarfree ones. Be sure and drink plenty of water with this added fiber. Another choice. You can also take 1 tablespoon of wheat bran or flaxseed meal daily. Although it's derived from grain, course bran is pure fiber. You can read more about this on page 76, DANDR(2002). |
