Find yourself a decent multivitamin that is iron-free. I was using GNC's Ultra Mega Iron-free for Women, now I'm using a drugstore brand iron-free. Some folks use Centrum Silver. Other supplements you may want to try are Chromium or L-Carnitine, which are said to combat cravings. If you are suffering from leg cramps you might want to try a potassium supplement as well. ( I used to take the Chromium and the potassium, but I weaned myself off of them as I progressed up in OWL with no ill effects and no cravings or leg cramps returning.) I personally take a separate calcium supplement as I was told it can combat pms symptoms, and plus, as women, we just need extra calcium.

I heard you have to be careful with B vitamins because too much can damage the liver. On the chromium I just bought they are 200mg. tab.'s. How much should I be taking? Just the 200mg or up to 400mg? Thanks

I forget how much Chromium I was taking, but I took a minimal amount. Only one tab a day. It may have helped my cravings but since I started it the day I started Atkins, I really can't compare it to anything. Whether it really worked or had a placebo effect is a mystery to me, but I know I felt better and stronger mentally by taking it, knowing it was geared for combatting cravings.
