Default me again

hi me again,
I have asked some random questions here and there in my first week of induction. Its just that I think maybe I have messed up a few things. Some of my questions have been answered and some have not. There is a few things that I have done this past week that I thought at the time would not matter but maybe they do.

first thing...instead of the whole pot of coffee i have had about 1 cup in the AM with splenda instead of sugar but with about half a tsp of my hazelnut non dairy creamer. Could that little bit really impact my weightloss?

I dont have much money so I have ate about 3 eggs with chx for breakfast.

for lunch i have either salad with mayo or some tuna
when I am at work I have more options (work in a group home) So then I usually have 2 chicken breast with swiss chx and grilled onions.

dinner i have about 2 burger patties and a vegatable

if i am hungry at night i may make a salad yesterday i think i did although eat to much brocoli...lol

the other night my roomate had a sub from subway and i ordered the club salad and ate half and saved the other half for lujnch the next day
sometimes for a snack i have celery with cream chz

i drink at least 1 gallon of water a day

am i eating to much...? also i think i need to totally stay away from chz or maybe limit myself to maybe 1 slice in the morning with my eggs i think i have ate way to much of the chz

Is your coffee regular or decaf? Caffeine can slow weight loss.

How much salad greens are you eating? It sounds like it possibly may be just a little too much for induction.

How much of those grilled onions?

You may want to post what you're eating and the amounts down on the Review My Menu board.

This is a cut and paste of my response to you in your Meat Vs Vegetable thread

Quote:
I need to ask you if you've read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002 (DANDR for short).
It will give you two veggie lists and it tells you how much you are allowed a day. The more you know about how to do Atkins correctly, the better your chances for success.
The book also gives you the 'why' behind the diet, and why it's not a great idea to eat a lot of vegetables at one sitting. Especially in the beginning stages of Atkins.

You have done quite well with the loss you mention, but as you say, who knows how much would you have lost if you had been following the diet to the letter.
In DANDR it talks about the effect food has on our blood sugars. Things like eating excessive vegetables...or too much of a certain vegetable and things with sugar in them (your non dairy creamer is packed with sugar, switch to Splenda and heavy cream) can spike your blood sugars. This in turn can cause cravings when your body burns those off. It's a roller coaster that Atkins tries to help us get off of.

All the little things you are doing incorrectly add up and can impact your weight loss.

Please please do yourself a favour and get, and read the book.
Get yourself a free account at www.fitday.com and chart your foods so YOU know for yourself where you are with everything. (Fitday!)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5235
There are certain Rules to be followed and certain food lists to choose from....you need to have them clear in your head...reading the book and having the book nearby to refer to is the best thing you can do at this point. The more you know the better your chances for success.

We can help you fine tune things, but you have to do your part by reading the book, ok?
