| When you mention the calf muscles it sounds very much like a potassium deficiency, which is fairly common with new Atkineers. I had it. Just take a potassium supplement. I took a magnesium/calcium/potassium pill and I just took one a day (not the two or so recommended on the bottle) and that did the trick and made my leg cramps go away. Your friend's mileage may vary. Upping the intake of potassium-rich legal veggies is also very helpful(and tasty!). |
