| Hi Sandi, You can have 3 cups of salad veggies OR 2 cups salad veggies and one cup other veggies. So that's a maximum of 3 cups a day.

| No not a stupid question, the only stupid questions are those that are not asked. Basically, its a total of 3 cups! If you only have 2 cups from the first list, you are allowed a cup from the second list. But due to the amount of carbs in the veggies in the second list, you are only allowed 1 cup a day of them. | No, it is a total of 3 cups. If you have 3 cups from the top list you can't have any from the bottom. If you only have 2 cups from the upper list, then you can have one cup from the lower list. |

| thank you thank you thank you I am doing something wrong here and I am trying to fine tune my diet and lose. and I wanted to make sure that wasnt the problem so last night I had 3 cups of salad and no veggies Went out for dinner, is it ok to do that occ. sandi

| You can go out for dinner, but what did you have when you were out? I had a grilled chicken salad, no dressing mostly salad greens, 4 strips of pepper, it had 8 olives but I bought them home for snack later in the night I didnt eat the tomatos, (not a fan of them) and I had one slice of cukes. It was about 3 cups of the salad and didnt have any others all day. It also came witha large grilled chicken no spices etc sandi
