| Any brand of single or double cream should be induction legal - unless it has additives. I don't eat cheese, so can't help. Sausages? You need to look to the premium supermarket ranges (I mean the expensive ones) They are made without cereal fillers. The Tesco and Sainsbury's varieties are too highly seasoned for me, but I realy like Wairose own. If you have an Aldi or Lidl near you look for Bratwurst - big German sausages - very low carb, and cheap.

| To echo what Labarum said - take time when shopping to read the labels and compare brands to choose the least carbohydratey ones. We are lucky in UK because our labels give the 'net carb' figure and always for 100 g or 100 mls not 'a serving' so we can always compare like with like, unlike in other countries where the figures are often given 'per serving' which may be a measly teaspoon of something you would normally eat much more than that.. I get my cream cheese for instance from Waitrose because I discovered their own brand has half the carbs of the philadelphia brand of cream cheese.

| When I lived in UK I remember buying the same cheap sausages as I do here in Denmark. They are made from chicken and they have no fillers. In Denmark the name on the package is "Robert"....I think it was the same in UK |

| The milk sugar (lactose) in cheese has gone through an aging process so is altered from that of plain milk. This is why cottage cheese and similar 'fresh' cheeses are not allowed till the Dairy rung of OWL. Good for you for checking labels before buying anything!!

I'm not sure what cream you are looking at which has added sugar? Unless you are referring to the "squirty" whipped cream? Rich

| Just been to Asda to buy food to start my diet in the morning, there is a nice selection of creams.Sausages look to be high in carbs so left them off the list. They do however have burgers that are 100% meat,so going to use instead of. Stu Mac. |

| You have to look for expensive sausages that have no cereal in them. My favourite are Waitrose own premium range. If you have a Lidl or Aldi near you buy some Bratwurt - tasty, low-carb and cheap.
