Default Advice Needed On 2 Products

Hi Guys i have purchased sun dried tomatoe paste and creme fraiche i am still on induction and want to know what you guys think if i was to have these 2 products. Im pretty sure the creme fraiche is ok but not so sure about the sun dried tomatoe paste.

Sun dried tomatoes ingridients: Sun dried tomatoes 66% sunflower oil, olive oil, salt white wine vinegar, citric acid, antioxidant (e300) flavouring.

Nutritional information per 100g carbohdrate .4 g, Fat 42.7g


Creme Fraiche no ingridients listed obviously has milk

Nutritional information per 100ml: Carbohydrate 2.5 of which sugar nil

Tomato is on the one cup list and sundried tomato paste is very concentrated tomatoes, so you could have it, but not very much at all. Does the container give a carb count?

The creme fraiche I'm not very sure about so I'm hoping someone else jumps in. I'm going to say to stay away from it now. I would think it could be in the same category as sour cream but lets hear what others have to say first.
I don't think I've ever eaten it, but I've heard about it.

I use creme fraiche the same way I use sour cream, it has even less carbs.

I always use creme fraiche.....we don't have sour cream in Denmark....
It's good for dressings....YUM....

The website ruri posted (thanks ruri, I've boookmarked that, it looks useful) shows .42g carbs per tablespoon, so this is quite low. No milk, it appears to be cultured product like yoghurt.

Perhaps keep quantities small until you are on the dairy rung, just to be on the safe side.

In the Danish version og DANDR it says creme friache where your say sour cream, so I'm pretty sure it can be used in the same quantities....that's what the book says anyway!
