| You can find Splenda right by the sugars. Do you have a Walmart super center near you?? If so, you can find Flax in the Flour asle.

| I wondered if you were in UK from another post, Jane! It is good to see another Brit join our international ADBB family. Yes in UK splenda is sold in most supermarkets - I have seen it in Waitrose, Asda, Tescos and Sainsbury so assume most sell it. the jars of granulated Splenda have a bright yellow label. Flax is called in UK 'linseeds' and is most often seen in health food shops. You can get brown or golden seeds and need to grind them into a sort of flour to use in recipes. I use the golden variety for baking but some people prefer the brown for cereal-type recipes. I pay about £2.50 for a 500 gram packet in my local independant healthfood shop, but have seen it at a much higher price at Holland & Barretts, so shop around if you are on a budget. I did see the ground linseeds in (I think) Sainsbury but it was about a tenner for a 500 gram pack!! you can use a coffee grinder or the grinding attachment of a food processor and it only takes half a minute to grind enough to use for recipes. Once ground it needs to be used fairly quickly as it will go rancid in time. It can be frozen or stored in the fridge to make it last longer.
