| It takes a couple of days for Ketosis to kick in, so its normal. Everyone has cravings once in a while, but they really do go away for the most part after the first few days. Good job on day #1! Keep us posted on how you are doing.

| Way to go! Hang in there...your first three or four days will be the worst and then it gets easier. I'm on Day Eight so I'm past the hardest part -- and it does get better. By this weekend you'll feel a little difference in how your clothes are fitting and less bloat. By the end of Induction you may go down a dress size! So, it is worth it. Keep us posted! Congratulation and best wishes on your journey!

One you are in ketosis for a long period of time, say 1 to two weeks, many notice a decrease in appetite. If you are truly hungry now eat more healthy food. You are allowed "liberal" portions of meat, fish, and eggs. Make sure to include the 3 cups of veggies and the 4 ounces of cheese allowed in a day. You never need to go hungry in this WOL. |
