| If I need to eat a snack, I eat a ounce of cheese or a hard boiled egg. If I have it available, I'll eat a chicken leg and five olives. Whatever snack you eat, just remember a 'snack' is small in comparison to a meal.

| -I- personally LOVE getting a piece of turkey (or two, my turkey is really thin sliced), spreading cream cheese on it and rolling up a pickle spear inside it and cutting it into pieces. Its my new favorite snack, in fact i'm having it for lunch today (along with radishes and some pepperonis) |

| make sure that sugar isn't in the ingredients of the pickles. *Take a piece of ham, spread some cream cheese on it and roll it up. They are amazingly good. *Pepperoni with cream cheese spread on them. If you've got the time, pop them under the broiler for just a minute to get them hot. I've found hot foods satisfy my stomach better than cold foods do. *Fry up a piece of cheese until it bubbles and turns brown. When it dries, it'll be crunchy, and taste kinda like cheez-its. Celery and cream cheese. It's a diuretic, will make your body release water. I use the pork rinds as a substitute for crackers. I'll make tuna fish with mayo, maybe a little onion, celery, red pepper --whatever floats your boat. use the pork rinds to eat the tuna with. That way, you don't overeat on the pork rinds. jalapeno poppers--slice fresh jalapeno pepper in half, take out all the seeds and membranes, fill with cream cheese and wrap in bacon. Bake until the pepper is soft. Delicious. Here's more: http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/snack_recipes.html

| I was at Walmart the other day and in the area that the microwave popcorn is at I saw pork rinds that are supposed to pop-up like popcorn. I can't stand pork rinds but it might be worth a look for those who enjoy them. I didn't check the nutritional counts. They had 3 different flavors. ~Pinky |

| You have to be careful with 'flavoured' pork rinds because in all probability the ingredients are not on the Acceptable Foods list. Plain pork rinds are good to use to scoop up tuna salad though, if you want a flavour change. They are quite high in sodium though, so stick with a handful a day max if you choose to eat them. |
