| we all have snags, it is recognizing, learning and moving past them that is important- and also being aware so when the next snag happens you can talk yourself down- i hit snags all the time. more importantly, the water! you have to get more water in to your bod. try boiled water with a slice of lemon or lime- even a sprig of mint or a cinnamon stick- almost like tea but not really. there is a lot of advice on how to get your water in- i am sure more will follow- good luck.

| Congrats making it to day 7!! One week, wowie! That's a long time to be away from all of those highly addicting food that you are used to. WEIGH TO GO! We all have things that we have to work on, and we will perfect them with time. Just remember the next time you are having a tough time getting in that water, you are rinsing those toxins out of your body. You are flushing your system. I notice that I tend to lose more steadily when I drink all my water. I hope that you can work out these snags in your diet.I have faith in you!!!! Keep up the super great work!

| pipee_pl - Thanks for the tips! Those all sound like excellent ideas that I would have never even thought of trying! Much better than that water you can buy flavored with artificial stuff, i'm sure. jsj0305 - Since I read your comment i'm reaaalllyyy trying to aim for a full three bottles. I've already had two, and i'm gonna try to have a third with dinner. Hopefully I will make it all the way up to 64oz of fresh water today! |

| I tried the lemon/lime water and it was pretty good. I like water, but it does get boring when that is the only thing you drink. You are doing great!! We started about the same time and look like we are trying to lose around the same amount of weight. I will be looking forward to your good posting and weight loss updates!! |

| You're doing great. I found that over time, drinking my water just became habit. I actually enjoy it now. Everybody likes having their water in different ways. Like, for me, I just can't drink it cold. Some people have to have it cold. Find what works for you. Congratulations on your success so far. |

| I know what you mean by snag. If I were you, I'd just avoid those Atkins Carbolite blah blah candy bars until you drop to a weight that you're feeling better about because in MY experience...once I start touching those stupid bars...my weight just sticks in place. No weight loss at all. Maybe that's just my physiology tho...hate it! And I think green tea and other water based beverages DO count as your water intake...however, some people claim the caffeine in tea or coffee stalls their weight. Who knows. Good luck! ![]() 5' 7 |

| Good job on reaching day 7. I have read many times, that people were not losing weight until they got all of their water in. 2Big has explained the chemical process when we lose weight and how water is important in this process.

| love2play - Thanks! I'll be watching your posting and weight loss, too! nervosia - Yeah, I put those bars under my bed as special treats. They were bought for me as a gift, so that's why I have them in the first place. But they really aren't good enough to be worth stalling my weight loss. *L* I'm avoiding caffiene which is why all the tea I drink is decaf. Sometimes I do sweaten it but sweatners have never caused me to stall in the past. (though if I find myself stalling from them this time around, you better believe they'll be completely gone too!) Binsk - Thanks for the tip, i'll definitely keep it in mind next time I reach for my water. (going to take BIG gulps!) Isabeau - You just might be my savior! Would you believe that I wouldn't have even thought of changing the temperature of the water? Now i'm drinking it ice cold and I can tolerate a lot more. THANK YOU!! |
