| Don't put too much store into the ketostix. They can't tell you whether the ketones are from the fat on your thighs or from the food you just ate. An many people report that a lot of them are duds and don't register anything. As long as you are following the Rules of Induction and eating correctly from the Acdeptable Foods list, you should be in ketosis. I've lost all my weight without the benefit of ketostix. |

| Yep what they said. I have never had a stick work for me, but the taste in my mouth has been discusting, a sure sign of ketosis. |

| Things that can effect ketone levels Water Veggies( most people do not eat enough of them even thoug they are following plan) Time it takes some peoples bodies longer to adjust sweetners will make them less such as splenda With that said as long as you are in ketosis following plan and not cheating you will lose I garentee it, I am always in mild or trace ketones and I have lost 50 pounds so far so keep going.
