| Gosh, I don't know how much help I will be. But I think you need to eat at least 3 times a day if not 5 times. So I would tell you that I would try to eat every small meals at least 3 times a day. If you don't fuel your body with the right foods I don't think this diet will work. By not eating your scaring your body. It wont know when your going to eat again and store as much as it can. Best of luck |

| That's true, you can make your body think there's little food to be had if you only eat once a day and it'll start grabbing onto anything it can. Not good, not healthy...emphasis on the 'not healthy' part. Breakfast serves to jump start your metabolism for the day, so don't ever skip breakfast. Even if all it is is one boiled egg, or a piece of cheese with a piece of meat (always have a protein/fat combo) or a piece of celery with some egg salad. Get down a few bites at least. Plan your day so that you eat small snack/meals throughout rather than force yourself to eat one big meal. Break that chicken caesar into three and have some every 4 or 5 hours. Remember, even if you just get down three or four bites, that's good. Think of it as fuel. Your body needs fuel to operate, so top off that tank every few hours to keep yourself going. |

| There is a minimum amount of calories your body needs per day or your body will go into what is referenced as "starvation mode". If you dont meet your minimum amount of calories per day your body will burn muscle and although you would be losing weight, by losing muscle you are actually increasing your body fat percentage and appearing heavier. Research BMR and find out what are your minimum calories you should eat.

| Your body is an engine and it needs regular fuel. Yes, you need to eat. Healthy food all the long. Food that the body can use to keep your metabolic processes humming along. Don't halt that miraculous process it in its tracks. EAT - at least 3 meals a day, couple of snacks. Stay full! Or else! ![]() ![]() |

| Hi Tina, Please don't think you are the only one...sometimes I feel I could easily go for two whole days without eating anything!!! I just nibble on some cheese and ham, or a pice of smoked Salmon etc....some slices of cucumber, mushrooms....I have to pick throughout the day. I have learned that it isn't good for your body not to eat, but it's also hard to force yourself to eat. Just try some nibbly things and see how you go.... for me it's only occasional days, most days I eat my correct amount of carbs etc, so it's shouldn't cause too much of a problem as long as it's not everyday. Keep going, you'll get used to it. Good luck!!!! xxx

| Hey there. I have this problem A LOT. I will have days where I am just not hungry, and other days where I want everything (legal that is This has been kinda a hot topic lately wether or not you should count calories, and eat a certain amount of them. To be honest with you, I make sure I hit my BMR as best I can, but if I am not hungry, I don't force myself to eat a huge meal. I follow what Dr.A says and I have a legal snack to maintain my bloodsugar, and go about my business. If I have a day where I am super hungry, I will eat. Everyone has a different opinion as to wether or not you should do this, and I'm not trying to make it about that. This is what I do, and maybe you having a general guideline could help you a little...okay, that was my official *DISCLAIMER*! If this is like everyone once in a blue moon, I wouldn't stress. But if this is often, I would definately force myself to eat something. You cannot allow your body to operate like this for long periods of time. The whole eating a snack idea is only for now and then days where you just aren't hungry. We want our bodies to work to burn this fat and to change drastically, so we MUST give it the tools it needs to properly do so. I hope this helps!!!
