Angry more questions!!!

O.k. I have read the book twice and read alot on here but I wtill have questions!!

What kind of butter do you buy, salted , sweet cream, unsalted? Sausage? bacon? What kind of salad dressing do you buy? Can you use sour cream and hidden valley ranch dip mix to make a dip to eat with your veggies? Is polish sausage and brats allowed? Also is there anything I can take to calm the migraines I will experience? I ususally end up going to the ER if I have a horrible one and don't want to have to do that?

Also i am confused on how to use fitday!!!! I know I have alot of questions!! If you want you can e-mail me to help me!! I need all the support I can get!!!!

Hi Tricia. Don't worry at all, its not rocket science lol. Buy any kind of butter you want, as long as its butter and not margarine/butter blend, p.s. check for transfats, that's no good and why he said eat butter, olive oil, vegetable oil, canola oil and some others, and NO corn oil. Forget the sausage unless it doesn't have cornstarch or sugar, watch out for sugar in the label. The same goes for bacon, so get a bacon that doesn't have honey/sugar in the ingredients. Go to the neighborhood butcher it usually is alright and not cured with the sugars. Dunno about the salad dressings, I just stay away from it because it has sugar/honey in most of them, but check the labels you might find one that has fat and no sugars, remember NO low-fat stuff. Again check the labels for the polish and brats or find some good ones carb & sugar free online in a http://www.google.com search, maybe a store might have them. in your city/town. Tylenol Extra Strength always does my headaches justice. Remember to keep the headaches calmer, drink lots and lots of water. Good Luck!!! HTH

I typically buy unsalted butter as I can always add salt later. For sausage, I buy Hiland or Farmland Sausage or Sausage/Bacon 16 oz package. If I am in a hurry, Jimmy Dean pre-cooked will work, but there is some sugar in the ingredients (be careful about that). As for Salad Dressing, anything with less than 2g per 2 TBS should be fine. For other items, make sure you read the ingredients. You can certainly find Brats and Sausages with corn syrups or other sugars.

just eat liberal amounts of meat, fish, eggs, 4 ouces of cheese and 3 cups of veggies every day, stay full, and you will do fine. search for products that have no sugar content, but do it because its fun, not from a place

how we Atkineers talk to ourselves is so important. it sounds like you are are certain you will have migraines when that isn't the case at all.

i had no unpleasant symptoms during induction, i felt great all the time. no headaches at all. and since i have cut out caffeine i have no migraines or mood swings either.

why affirm anything but positive results for yourself? don't buy into theories that limit you.
