| yep that loss of appetite is normal. I'd suggest you reread your DANDR cause we never have to eat all 20 net carbs that is the maximum amount you can have in induction not the required amount. Also you shouldn't be forcing yourself to eat when you are not hungry. We feed only our hunger unless the 6 hour since your last eatting time has occurred and then you have a small protein/fat snack with some of your veggie carbs. your body will tell you when it needs food by your hunger symptoms. This is a very good time to learn them and teach yourself to only respond to them so you too can be a big loser doing Atkins. Happy low carbing.

| I too worried about that when I was first starting induction. I was told that as long as I got all my veggies, I was good. There is no need to force more food down that throat. I personally don't ever hit 20. Mostly stick around 16-17. As far as the appetite suppression. I love it. It has been a long time and a lot of diets since I have felt this full and satisfied. I only intake about 1000 calories a day but I am satisfied. That is the most wonderful thing about this way of eating. -Yakara

| Yep, had the same problem here. Found myself filling my plate with portions I used to eat and not being able to eat it all. I gave up the guilt for not "cleaning my plate" too. I always make sure I eat my veggies first before I go for the other stuff, in case I get full, i"ve still gotten my veggies in. Congratulations!
