| Ugh. I'm sorry you feel so yucky The Crystal Light is a fair place to start. You might want to give broth a shot, and it'll feel and taste a little more substantive too. When I get sick like that, the first thing I head for is a veggie soup. Generally speaking once I can hold that down I'm good to go. I hope you feel better soon! ~Brook

| Thankyou, so even though I'm going through the induction phase I can have broth and vegetable soup or should I just stick to broth today to be on the safe side? |

| You can absolutely have veggie soup - it's super easy to make and when you make it you know that it stays induction appropriate! I'd start with the broth though and see how your tummy handles that, then move forward from there.

| There's a reason gradmothers worldwide swear by chicken soup. You need to replace lost electrolytes, minerals and other nutrients. Certainly it tastes good too! Hope you feel better soon!

| Soup is wonderfully nutritious! It's easy to make because you can even use plain water or if you want buy a can of chicken broth. Just toss the water or broth into a pot, then add shredded veggies (from the Acceptable Foods list, like cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, celery, etc.). Bring them to a boil and cook until soften. Add salt and pepper. If you would like a smoother, creamier soup. Put the soup in a blender and blend until smooth.

| How about some flax crackers? Mix one Tablespoon of ground flax (linseeds in UK) with one tablespoon of water and let thicken up, then spread on parchment paper and microwave till crisp. you could add some spices or grated cheese too.

| For some reason really heavy dairy stuff seems to help me. No milk on induction of course, but maybe some cheese in your soup would be good.
