| Ketosis is a natural appetite suppressant. That's why you don't need to use appetite suppressant pills during Atkins. It's okay if you aren't as hungry as you 'normally' are. Dr. Atkins intended us to eat only the amount that satisfies your hunger. If that amount is 1 hard-boiled egg, so be it. Your body isn't stupid and it won't let you starve. If you use your Atkins and do what Dr. Atkins recommended, you'll re-learn your natural hunger cues and you'll find on some days (or meals) you will be hungrier than others. The only thing you have to worry about is the 6 hour rule. Dr. Atkins said not to go more than 6 hours without eating something. If you aren't hungry for a meal, you can have a snack that combines protein/fat and carbs.

| Try to eat 'a little something' in the morning - even if you dont feel hungry. As Megs said, make sure it has fat/protein and some carbs to keep your intake balanced.
