| I have absolutely no doubt what so ever that I would not have lost 1/4 of the weight I've lost so far if it weren't for exercise. If not for the physical aspects, the way it gives me control over my eating/cravings/ mood is enough to make me do it everyday. Definitely a MUST!!!

| Yup. Go for the workouts! You will feel so much better and your body will tone as well as drop weight. The scale may not move as fast as you like, but who cares when you have to keep buying smaller size clothes?? |

| Exercise isn't optional. Its very important to move that skeleton. It will reinforce your Atkins WOE and your Atkins WOE will reinforce your exercise. Together they work as a dynamic tool. I wouldn't worry about muscles weight. Toned muscle doesn't make you muscular. It does however aid in burning the fat stores. |

| Don't be afriad to gain muscle weight, it's good for you, and it looks good on you! The more muscle weight you have in proportion to your toal weight the faster you'll burn the fat that's still there.

| It is extremely important to start to learn the benefits of exercise as soon as possible in this WOE. How much and how quickly you pick it up depends on the person, amount of induction flu, and amount of exercise you were doing prior to Induction. Do as much as you can, and just resolve this is just a starting point for a whole lot of new experiences to come. If you can only walk 7 minutes on the treadmill (like me when I first started), be satisfied with that for now. Never however get comfortable with where you are at because plateaus are too common occurances when that happens.
