Default Total Control (or herbalife) during induction

I totally ruined my induction phase of the diet. I went off and now am kicking myself. I'm going to start back up but I'm really trying to motivate myself. I have a really hard time with breakfast (don't like hard boiled eggs or deviled eggs as breakfast food) and so I had an Atkins protein bar and it took me out of ketosis and that was my downfall. If anyone can suggest quick meals for breakfast I would love that! I never have time for cooking eggs.

Anyway, has anyone ever tried Total Control (otherwise known as Herbalife)? A personal trainer told me that it was one of the better diet aids on the market. I have a bunch of the bottles. I was thinking of using Total Control to get me started during the first few days of induction. If I can try to curb my cravings for sweets which are horrible in the first few days, I feel like I can get well into ketosis again. Does anyone know if this is ok? I'd like to get started again tomorrow but don't want to jeopardize my induction again.

Thanks!

I precook bacon in the microwave and that is what I eat for breakfast. I've noticed I cannot stay on Atkins if I don't precook breakfast stuff, because I never have time in the morning. So I make those egg/bacon/onion/sausage muffin things, and eat plain bacon a lot.

I don't think you should use the herbalife. Atkins does well enough on their own. If you can get through the first four days, your sugar cravings will go down significantly.

ditto what she says......
your cravings will cease and if you do it cleanly you will have more confidence in your choice not to take that product.

have you been to the recipe section? that would probably be helpful to you . also, many of us did and do get tired of eggs. think outside the breakfast mold. you don't have to wait till lunch or dinner to have chicken salad or shrimp or a bacon burger.

I wouldn't use Herbalife. It makes you jittery and out of sorts. Kind of like someone's hooked you up to electricity. That sounds like a good thing--but it leaves you feeling horrible.

Diet aids don't work. I've taken them all. My highest weight was 280--if they worked, I'd be the first one to tell you.

Take everyone's advice and brave out induction. It works better than any diet aid out there to curb appetite and suppress cravings.

You CAN do it! Prove it to yourself! ;-)

Hi Tiffany!

Basically it's an omelet in muffin form. I use a mini muffin tin, and mix up eggs, sausage, bacon (I crumble already made pieces) some onion - and you can also throw in some green or red peppers or whatever else you like in your omelets. I kind of measure by feel, usually 6-10 eggs depending on how many muffins I want to make, and then chop up some onion and some cooked sausage and bacon and the rest of anything I want (cheese is good in there too) and then mix it all together with a whip. Then I pour it into the muffin tins, trying to get an even mix.

I bake it at 350 until the egg looks puffy and done. They are good! I hope that helps.

Those do sound yummy. I never thought of cooking eggs that way. I'll have to try that one.
