| I would say that its probably your body going through detox (or induction flu). It should pass. Fiber works both ways...so, if you are having constipation or loose bowels make sure you are getting your fiber in in the form of veggies.

| My first two days on Atkins, my stomach was so upset, but it went away, so give it time perhaps. |

| It took me some time to get used to the bathroom issues. I only had an issue once where things got a little tough, but after that everything evened out and now I average once every other day. I think there is a part inthe atkins book about what to do if you experience issues in the bathroom??? I have to take another look and get back to you. Maybe someone else who knows the book better than me can post first? If not, I'll be back to post what I found.

| yes what you are experiencing is common too from the higher fat in your Atkins diet. your body will adjust and make more bile to help break it down but right now you can help yourself with some water soluble fiber like psyllium or sugarfree Metamusil tyope stuff. it will absorb some of the fluid in your gut and bulk up the process making it move more slowly through. yep fiber for both is the correct answer.
