| I haven't bought it...there is a sticky above in this forum with a wallet size list of the acceptable foods. If you stick to that when grocery shopping, you won't go wrong.

| It's "good" in regard it gives you shopping strategies, like shop the perimeter of the store and avoid the center carb filled aisles. It also has a good section on vegetables and fruits because it tells you how to pick them out. But the rest of the book has carb counts of various foods like specific brands of canned legumes, cold cuts, frozen vegetables, etc. And those products you really need to read the label---especially if you buy the generic store brands rather than the national brands (for the sake of saving money!)
