Headache...is this normal?

Hello all. Just started day 3. Experiencing headaches. Is this normal? I thought they would have subsided by now. By the way, I'm eating enough food, drinking lots of water, getting in my veggies, checking food labels for hidden sugars, etc. When will the headaches subside?

Its very normal, it can effect a lot of people starting out on Atkins, but not necessarily everyone.

Within a couple of days you will be back to normal again. Just increase your water intake for a few more days and then you will feel fine.

Oh and take something for the headache. It's totally normal, it's your body detoxing off the sugar. Give it a couple days and you're going to feel great

I had headaches for a couple of weeks. NOW I get headaches if I eat carb-y things. It's not good for ya. The headaches are normal.

Thanks everyone! Another question now....I've increased my water intake and now I am so bloated! My stomach looks much bigger than it did before Atkins! Is that normal, too?

Took a few Motrin (thanks Joy) and I'm feeling better. Ate some cream cheese with Splenda (yum) and laid down for a while. All of your stats (Rich, Joy and Yuna) look great and that is VERY encouraging to me. Thanks for your prompt replies!

Okay, Rae this may seem personal, but is TOM due? That could be the cause of bloat and headaches? It certainly is for me.
Also watch your salt.

Erin...nothing's too personal when it comes to weight loss! LOL And you are sooooooo smart!! Forgot about the TOM and that day is fast approaching. I feel so much better....thanks!

Yep, Erin hit the nail on the head re: bloatiness....and the headache too. You're getting hit with a double whammy for this week coming up...just stick through it and you'll be OH SO MUCH better off...believe me...when it passes, you'll feel better than you have in a looong time.
