| I dont speak portuguese but I think 'lipids' equals 'fat' and maybe 'glicids' means 'sugars'?? So to follow Atkins you need high fats, medium proteins and low carbs/sugars There is no actual limit on grams of fat and protein although there is a limit on grams of carbohydrates. On induction we aim at a ratio of 65% fat/30% protein/5% carbs. The mayonnaise I use has 0.9 carbs per 100 mg/ml, but if it has no added sugars you can use one that has up to 14 carbs per 100 mls (about 7 tablespoons) Quote:
By the way, I dont know how close the Portuguese and Spanish languages are as I don't speak either, but ADBB does have a Spanish forum which you might find useful too http://www.dietaatkins.com/
