Default Heavenly CREAM

I am close to finishing my second week of INDUCTION, and since I haven't lost ANY weight yet ( the scale keeps showing 1-2 lbs less one day and the next day its rite back on) ,

So I figured what the heck, maybe i should allow myself the 3 tblsppons we are allowed.(i have been refraining from this since it was special food) but I figured it cant get any worse than not loosing weight rite?

Because I do want to mention that I took my friend's 4 year old daughter to mc donalds and resisted the SMELL AND TASTE of my Ohhh so BELOVED french fries !!! not even a teeenie tiny bit !! ARE u guys proud of me ? It was HARD !!!!

Anyways , so rite when i came home, i whisked 3 tblspoons heavy cream (with a fork i was so obsessed I couldnt even fiind the time to look for my whisk) hahaha

anyways so i added a lil bit of vanilla extract and only 1/3 or a lil splenda packet , i dont like it that sweet !

Well let me tell you it was heavenly and i couldnt believe that we are actually allowed this wonderful treat on induction

YUmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Get off the scale Belle and do not get on it for 2 weeks. Do not do anything to sabotage yourself. You can lose entire sizes on Atkins and see no scale movement at all.

I don't go to drive ins anymore, and I will not put myself in situations where I might be tempted.
Next time I suggest you take the urchin to Home Buffet where you have healthy meat and fish choices.

As for the whipping cream, thats an Atkineers best buddy. I enjoy a tablespoon in my decaf every morning, what a treat.

Ohhh i know the Cream was soooo yummmy !

But hey i was good, I didnt even eat anything at mikki dees ... lol not even one french fry .... I actually have not cheated at ALL .... I have been UEBER good, depriving myself of the allowed avocado and cream and the olives ....

I was just getting so frustrated that i was not loosing weight OR INCHES ... and i thought what the **** , i can have some cream and half a tiny avocado ...

i know I have to hang in there , it just gets sooooo frustrating because i see everyone else loosing up to 14 lbs within the first 2 weeks and i am at 1-2 lbs up and down the scale ...

That is just annoying. u know ? I told Myself i will do the whole induction for a total of 4 weeks, if I dont see ANY results, weightloss or inches,

Then i am switching to my low calories, just fruits and protein diet where i did loose up to 7 lbs for less than 2 weeks .... without all that nasty fat ... i really dont even like all that extra butter and mayonaise and all these fatty meats .... But I do it because i want to keep a perfect ratio ...

wow the sacrifices we have to bring ... I rather be munching on some fresh blueberries and pineapple rite about now, but i havent had ANY fruits since i ave been on induction for the past 2 weeks ...

I think a month is fair to give to the atkins diet ... after that i should really see SOMETHING .. i mean honestly , I am not asking for too much.

Fair enough if you are treating is as just a weightloss diet.

You might find that other things have improved after that month so you want to stay Atkineering for the other health benefits.

You do know I hope that induction is only the starting phase of Atkins, so you really wouldn't be giving it a fair shot by only doing the introductory stage and not following the rest of the programme.

One of our admins lost absolutely no weight at all on induction but moved on to the main weightloss phase (OWL) and reached goal while moving through the 4 phases of Atkins.

So now you have completed your initial induction 2 weeks why not start moving up the OWL ladder?

cream is of God ...and so is the food you can eat here....but you really have to also focus on finding content

you are doing great and Tabi has the exact thing down I would tell you ..but since she said it perfectly ...I say just reread it!!!

good luck!!!

this is not about what you can't have that is for darn sure ...or I would not still be here

creams uses are unlimited!!!

I always figured all heavy creams were the same, until I came across Horizon Organic Heavy Whipping Cream. It's so thick and even richer than the others I was used to - just divine!

Ellizellen
Thank you for your advice , I will consider going into OWL.

I am mainly using atkins for weightloss. that is true. And of course I am planning to go thru the phases.
However I do not plan to keep eating such fatty foods forever. ( that extra slab of butter and mayonaise and what not is pretty gross for me personally) It is not my goal to be forced to eat such things to keep some fat ratio up.

For after Atkins I have decided to completely cut white starches out of my diet that is for sure , no white bread , pasta , rice etc.

And by the time i have gone thru the stages I hope I have lost most of my extra fat

Now dont get my wrong, after this torture is over, i will keep to something close to the atkins diet, just a LOW FAT variation of it with TONS AND TONS of fresh Fruits and veggies. More fruits than veggies LOL

Personally i dont think i need all that extra fat in there. After this I want to get to a point where I can enjoy a LOW CARB fresh fruits and veggies diet.

But I just want the scale to be my friend and at least drop something ... u know ...

Bellezza,
I understand that as you rise the rungs of OWL your ratios will change to lower fat on their own.
