| You need to stop this nonsense. You cannot cheat and why would you blow your last day of induction??? You know what you must do right?? START OVER AGAIN. Make it a clean start. This is not cool behavior, you resisted your friends, but deep inside you really wanted to eat the wrong thing and you did. My suggestion is to re-start induction. But, don't beat yourself up. You must pin-point your downfall, you. Nothing and I do mean nothing got in your way but you. Know your limits, if you know that you are too weak to eat in a restaurant, then by all means don't. You'll be fine, remember this episode, jot down in a journal the feelings you felt before your cheat and more importantly how you felt after the cheat. Weigh the Pro's and Con's as well.

| I KNOW that its hard to resist the temptations, but if you keep at it it gets easier and easier. I'm an advocate of OWL, but I cheated too toward the end of my 14 day induction. You don't HAVE to start over, but I did. The 3,4th weeks made it a little easier, didn't lose anything, but I could say I did it clean...and it helped me get my cravings and my attitude toward this WOL under control. Then I moved into Ongoing Weight Loss. I'll be honest and tell you that I made it a whole 4 months and then cheated again. Came here and posted about it, got right back on track and kept moving forward. You can do it too. This may be the most important thing you do in life for yourself, so keep at it!

| thanks Validrouge for words of support! Is it better for me to be on induction for long or shall I go to another phase in like 2 weeks time. I have not weighed myself in second week of induction, I will do it in the evening today after work. I lost 2 kgs in first week and i was 75 kgs last week. I want to loose atleast 10 kgs more.... what do you suggest? shall I be on induction for very long or I should change the phase after extending induction for next 2 weeks. |

| Well, if you lost 2 kg in the first week and you had 12 kg total to lose, then even if you don't lose another pound in the second week, you've still lost 16% of the total you want to lose. This is really, really good. Most people can expect to lose 5-10% of the total, and you are already ahead of the game. I'm a real advocate for moving on into OWL. But you may want to stay on induction, get it right and get your appetite suppression REALLY in effect. Then move into OWL right away. The first rung is more vegetables, and you really can't go wrong adding in more vegetables. I have bigger salads and more "hot" type vegetables with dinner. I also like to use tomato sauce as a good OWL rung 1 food. You can stay on any of the "rungs" of OWL as long as you like. I personally like the variety of food that OWL allows us. Read up on it in the book, and in the OWL forum on this site. There are stickies in that forum that will tell you exactly how to do it. There's something about moving through those "rungs" that kind of keeps me motivated.

| Thanks so much validrouge. I also feel moving in different phases is the right way to go. I will be on induction for sometime though.. may be till I loose 70-75% of what I wana loose and then will see about OWL. 12 kgs is the first goal I have set for myself.. after that may be I will loose more. I will read about OWL cheers |

| I agree with Joy (Valid Rouge). There really is no "starting over". You can call it day one again, but you've already begun, so keep on going. You can move onto OWL or remain on induction. Become more aware of what you're eating when you don't prepare it yourself. Tikka Paneer usually has a curd(yogurt) based marinade, which isn't a part of induction. Yogurt and fresh dairy is part of OWL. Paneer itself is actually a fresh cheese too. Good luck!
