| What about making them mexi-ribs? Cumin, garlic, salt, red pepper etc in the crockpot. The meat will be falling apart...it would be carnitas. Serve with some guacamole and a dollop of sour cream. Yum.

| I love cumin and I love my slow cooker LOL I do beef ribs that way and just love it. You could also put some chopped up chayote squash in there as a sub for potatoes I just love that little vegetable. Some onion and peppers too. Then you'd have a whole dinner in the crock when you get home.

| Here's a "recipe" for taco seasoning without the starches and fillers that come in the prepackaged ones. http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/seas...for_tacos.html

| I get them at the grocery stores around here. If you don't find them in the grocery store, look for mexican grocery stores. http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/chayotes.htm

| I LOVE ribs! I boil mine for a bit and then put seasoned salt on them and bake them or broil them....sooo good! Almost any dry rub without sugar will be good as well! Good luck!
