| Philadelphia is great as is the cheap versions. Check the labels and make sure they are the same. |

| I use Philadenphia too... it's about the only cream cheese you can get here, aside from mascarpone.

| I am with Philadelphia as well. It was rated number one cream cheese by ATK as well. With that recommendation, it's definitely good enough for me.

| I usually use my local supermarket's own brand of cream cheese which has half the carbs of philadelphia's version. Check labels to see what other brands list.

| re: stalling.... No one can guarantee that a food will not stall you. Each of us has a tolerance for different foods. Since I've been on this board, I've read members who had problems (cravings, weight loss stoppages) by Splenda, celery, broccoli, cheese---all kinds and brands, diet sodas, etc. The key is to not over-indulge, be mindful of portion sizes, and always watch how your body reacts to a food.

| I did a test of all the supermarkets in the UK to see who's was the best!! Sainsbury's came top - really nice and under 50p so a huge saving on phili! Marks and Spencers went too sloppy when mixed with the splenda and didnt taste very good, Asda's was a little too hard, but that came in second place, and third place went to Tesco!!! I had lots of fun testing!!! think thin jane x
