Actually, if the stix turns color at all, it means that you are excreting excess ketones from fat metabolism.
And it's very possible to be "in ketosis" and not lose weight, particularly if you are overeating your legal Atkins foods (like stuffing yourself with protein and fat) and/or not exercising.
