| I am wondering why one would want to juice as you would lose half the reason to eat the vegetables (the fiber) and concentrating the stuff you are eating (the naturally occuring sugars and nutrients too). Therefore the sugars are more likely to have an immediate blood glucose reaction due to their ease of absorption. Additionally, it may be quicker to eat that way, but I don't think I would get as full drinking the juice of one carrot than eating it whole. Finally since it is suggested that all carbs are eaten with some fat to delay absorption, stop cravings, what would you mix with the juice to be the fat part of the meal? I am not saying juicing doesn't have a place in the Atkins WOE, but I would have hard time finding it in Induction.

| Thanks for the replys. It always helps to bring my questions to the forum. You know when you think one thing and are not sure if there is more to it that you're not thinking of, that would be this. I appreciate the help and input. Thanks! |
