| You need to try to keep it about 65% fat / 5% carbs / 30% protein. Adding some fat should help. Maybe some extra mayo on your chicken, or cooking your eggs with butter. Fitday is a great tool to help. Try plugging those ideas in and see if it helps your percentages. And don't forget to get all your veggies in for the day. Don't stress too much though, like you said, you still have a meal to go. See how it balances out at the end of the day and you'll be able to see what you need to adjust. Good luck!

| As Christy said, you might just need to add a little fat to correct it - or you might have entered something wrong in fitday. I know it took me a while to get the hang of choosing the right descriptions and quantities! If you want to get people to look at your fitday entries in case something is not entered correctly you can make it public and paste the link here. To do this go to the 'home' tab once you are logged into your fitday account and scroll right down to the 'make my journal public' button and click on it. you will be given a url ending something like 'owner=yourname' that you can copy/paste here.

| Oh - another good idea is to use fitday to plan your meals so you can balance your ratios throughout the day. When I was starting Atkins I found it very useful to enter my breakfast the night before to check it was about right, and add what I thought I would have for lunch, snacks and evening meal too. You can plan a week or so in advance if you want by just clicking to a new day. Then if the ratios are out you can see what adding or deducting one boiled egg or spoonful of mayo will do to them. There is a good sticky thread here in the 14-day forum How much fat do I need to eat? about getting it right We need to try and keep to our ratios at each meal if at all possible so our bodies are running on the right proportions of fat/protein/carbs all day instead of running on high octane for some of the day and a leaner mixture another part of the day.
