Default Can I eat these? (Pork Sausage)

So I went to Safeway looking for some pork sausages and found a Safeway Brand Pork Sausage. Take a look at the nutrition info and let me know if these are ok to eat.

Safeway’s Country Pork Sausage
Includes fresh pork cuts

Serving Size 2oz cooked
Services: About 6
Calories: 250

Total Fat: 24g
Sat Fat: 8g
Cholest: 50mg
Sodium: 550mg
Total Carb: 0mg
Protein: 9g

Ingredients: Fresh pork cuts, water, salt, spices, Sugar, Monosodium Glutamate.

What do you think? Anybody have any other recommendation for sausages if I can eat these?

They are not induction legal because of the added sugar. I've found it very difficult to find sausage that doesn't have sugar or corn syrup in it though.

Most pork breakfast sausage has sugar /maple syrup/ or corn syrup in them so they are not advisable

I eat thick cut No sugar added bacon for breakfast

publix brand

I normally get Farmland tube breakfast sausage which has no sugar in it. The type is bacon/ham sausage. I believe Farmland is a national brand. The sugar in the above brand is neglible, and while they are certainly out for Induction, you might be able to add them in later in the diet depending on your reaction.

Thanks for all your input. I bought the Safeway Brand and now I'm too afraid to eat it.

Also, today is my 5th day and since it was around 8 and the bus was taking longer than expected, I gave in and ate Carl's Jr Six Dollar Burger, Low Carb, No Mayo and No Ketchup. Do you think that will mess up my induction?

Ummm... What do you think was in the low carb burger that was not acceptable? From my recollection, it should just be: beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, and maybe dill pickles. All of which are on the induction acceptable foods list. The mayo would have been too, but that is a personal choice.

Kent -
Would "corn starch" in multivitamin supplement stall your weight loss because I've been taking supplements not knowing that corn starch was in it and ever since I started taking them, although I"m in Kitosis, I haven't been loosing weight other than the 4lbs and today is day 6.

Most likely not... Although the body can have insulin reaction to even insignificant amounts, give it another a week or 2 before coming to any conclusions. You've already lost a fantastic 2/3rds pound per day (average). Don't try to overthink the diet and perhaps sabotage future weightloss.

Kent -- what's your opinion on flavored pork rinds? I went to the store earlier and found two types of fried pork skin. One was unflavored and was only salt and fried pork rinds, but the other was a Hot & Spicy Flavored. Considering i Love hot and spicy food, I'm wondering if I should even bother? If it doesn't list sugar, would it be ok?

I just went online and found the nutritious info..
