| Certainly not in induction--each serving has like, 12-14g of sugar, and other carbs are used for fillers and flavor. I don't know about in later phases...I would purchase real crab meat, and save your carbs!

| Juli's right. Imitation crab meat is fish flavored with crab flavoring, modified starches and alot of sugar. If you can, use the real crab meat. Fresh is best, but canned isn't too bad if that's all you can get. (PS Before anyone kills me over the canned crab comment, please note, I am from the Maryland-Virginia area reknown for the famous Blue Crab. Fresh is better than canned, but canned is much better than the fake stuff!)

Hey, I'm with you on the fresh vs canned thing. I bought canned ONCE and spent more time picking out little pieces of shell than I did eating it. Blech, I got frustrated and just a little grossed out and couldn't finish it. There's nothing quite like deliciously sweet, succulent, fresh crab. But as you said, canned crab is better than pseudo crab. Ick. |
