| Oh, I posted this the other day and just saw that someone replied about this. I know Aspartame is a NO NO so I guess I'll just drink water. |

| Well done for checking around the board and finding an answer ![]() Sticking to water is a good strategy, as if you are anything like I was when I started you probably really didnt drink enough fluid of any type to keep properly hydrated, and by concentrating on only drinking water you will up the likelihood of making your minimum amount each day! The suggested minimum is 64 fluid ounces per day plus 8 more ounces for every 25 pounds you need to lose.

| Hey littletex...hang in there about the crystal light. Eliz. is right, the water is the best way to go. I am sitting here working my way from 60-80 oz...Today brings me to my first cross roads...it's really cold here in Atlanta, and the water is cold...makes me colder... hmmm, might have to drink luke warm h20.... The more you drink, the more you start to really thirst for it, look for it, and want it.

| The Crystal Light in the bottle is made with Splenda, so you could have 8 ounces of it as one of your allowed three sweets for the day. The rules say that that 8 ounces can't be used to replace any of your water ration, however.

| As Chris said, they have Cyrstal Light ready made in the bottles. But as he also said, don't think of it as part of your water ration. Until you are actively drinking all your water in a day, i would stick to that until it because second nature. Because that is the best think for your goal. i know its hard but its doable and soon you will crave water, basic water with nothing in it. I went from drinking 2 2liters of diet coke types (DP, Cherry, w/lime) with sometimes a regular coke mixed in about once a week PER DAY!!! One at work and one at home. When i made the decision to start atkins again, i gave myself a couple weeks to mindset myself and get my home in order, during that time i switched to only sug free koolaid at work sometimes i made the actual koolaid, and others i flavored water. i then switched to adding 4 mini altoid mints to my 2 2liters of water, and now i drink between 128 and 200 oz of water a day. i don't crave coke anymore, i do get very thirsty and if i start thinking i want that, i simply suck down water and the craving for other flavors goes away. It saves a lot on money also lol. i know its hard, but i have decided i would rather use my flavors for food. That way i get to enjoy flavors when i am eating and not waste things like my splenda allowance or cals and carbs or such on something i can easily over due because to me lol 8 oz of a drink is sooo not a lot lol.
