| aparmour, Congrats on your success. You know, some times our bodies are jolted with all that we "suddenly" do. I have read it many times that weight goes slow. I would encourage you to continue to "live the way of life"... make this a way of life, more than a diet, because once you ARRIVE at a goal weight, to object is to have slowly worked through the phases of the brought back carbs to the point where you can eat more than induction but not to the point where you start to gain the weight back...many people who make this a short term diet, end up gaining it back, because they go back to carbs!!! So, I want to encourage you to relax, and keep building a low carb lifestyle and realize our bodies release the weight when they are ready...It's one of the things YOU can't control! I am looking to make a way of life... You have made such positive strides I hope they are for life!

| Did you use your tape measure and measure yourself before you started the program? Hope you did. You can be making progress by losing inches, but the scale doesn't always show your progress, but your tape measure will. Plus by exercising you are building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. We want the muscle. A pound of muscle takes up less space. So use that tape and measure yourself. You will see pounds lost on your scale eventually. So don't get discouraged. It will happen. Keep up the great effort. |

| You've done great! 6lbs is nothing to be concerned about. It's 2lbs a week, which is twice what any expert will tell you is good progress. Yes, some lose faster, but don't worry...if you keep at this, it will happen. Hang in there and I'm sure you'll see a difference. Do you feel better? I know I did!

| I measured myself for the first time on Friday, and I will both weigh and measure again on November 19th. I am really hoping to see a more significant difference on that day. I have really tried to include fiber to flush out the bad stuff in the past few days. I have been including flax meal in my Mock Danishes and flax seed in my salads. I have also been taking Metamucil pills two or three times a day. Is there anything else I can do?

| We can expect to lose between 5-10% of the weight we need to lose during the first 14 days. For you that would have been 2-5 pounds, so you've exceeded that!
