| congrats on the great start you got going. if you are eating your Atkins high fat low carb moderate protein you are in ketosis burnig off body fat. Stix only measure the excess levels of one type of ketone body in your blood at the time that urine was made and reports it as a concnetration not actual individual ketones present. We got lots of topics in the FAQ you can read about how stix lie. just keep working your Atkins and you will be burning your body fat for fuel as Dr Atkins promised.

| I found my best indicator or ketosis was always my hightened energy levels and supressed appetite. You sound like you are losing fine so I wouldn't worry about the stix.

| there are lots of physical symptonms you can use like your shrinking body the scale meoving downward, funny taste in your mought chande in smell ofurine and breath, incr4ae in thirst, and that bost in enegy just mentioned. put your stix away and save your money
