| I wouldn't worry about--if it's fresh, generally it has less stuff added to it and is healthier for you. I eat polish sausage from a local meat market quite often, and it hasn't affected me or stalled me.

| and next time ask the butcher if he adds any sugars to it. if you are in the US they have to have the ingredients posted somewhere.
