| It all depends on your body, how much you have to lose, etc. etc. however, in a week you should definitely be feeling more energy- stay off the scales for the first two weeks, follow the rules, and I promise you won't be disappointed! |

| Ditto what Loser4life said......it depends on your body, etc.. I notice that I don't see weight loss until I am in Ketosis and my Ketosis strips turn purple. This takes the first 3 days of induction for me. I then see the lbs come off regulalry. I usually drop about 1 lb a day and average about 10-12 weight loss during induction. This of course is me...everybody is different. Don't get discouraged by other's progress...use it as motivation and encouragement, but keep in mind your individual body. Good luck and welcome! |

| You can expect to lose 5% to 10% of the weight you need to lose overall. In 14 days, the induction phase. So be sure and do a clean induction and who knows you may just lose even more. I will be watching to see great progress from you.!!! |

| I weigh 193 and I want to get to 145, This is my 5th day and I have only lost a pound! Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Thank you for all your support and you grrreat advice. |

| clean induction is doing your induction by the book, no cheating, no substituting. The book, being Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution, 2002 edition. All other books published after 2002 were after the good Dr. had passed away. We follow his words. Thanks for asking this question. Other newbies are probably wondering about clean induction too.
