| don't know where you are but flax is availible just about world wide. psullium is the stuff in metamucill. but if you are in need of going right away the natural veggie stuff he is referring to is senna like in senacot. many ADBBer who got really constipated swear by natural glycerine suppositories for 30 mint till releif. also pick your veggies with higher fiber content from the acceptable lists will help keep this from reoccuring.

| that is the laxative with the natural veggie stuff Dr Atkins refer to in DANDR. once you get uncloogged you need to add fiber supplements to your Atkins eating you can use either wheat bran, psyllium or flax seed meal per rule 12 of induction so you stay that way once you move to OWl it will lessen as you get more veggies with lots more fiber.

| Chris, I eat flax meal fairly regularly, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Nor does Citacell (sp?). The only thing that keeps me going regularly is a gentle colon clense (I've tried a few different kinds) that I take every couple of days.

| Sometimes eating too much protein can cause this too--make sure you watch your protein intake, eat your veggies, and try some flax meal. You can make mock danish for brekkie, or sprinkle it in foods.

| SF Metamucil should be able to found almost anywhere, and it is made with psyllium husks. It does contain aspartame, so you may want to evaluate your weight loss afterwards as well.

| the laxative i got is (bisacodyl) ingredients: eack enteric sugar-coated tablet contains: bisacodyl 5mg. Also contains lactose, sucrose. Are these ok to take? Chris
