| Might want to think over 'where' it is you tend to lose your control. Is it at work? Is it at a specific store? or is is at home? If it is at work, think of things that you can do to be 'busy' while thinking of junk food. Example might be : 'oh, i sure would like a chocolate bar...' so you quickly grab a bag of pork rinds from your desk and munch them til your under control.. or you have to play 3 games of solitiare while thinking over your craving before you give in (hoping that you get control back before that happens) Or if it is bad choices at a store/grocery.. do NOT go in those isles. make a game plan like your robbing the store (but still paying!lol) 'ok, it's in and out people, we got 30 seconds to grab the groceries we need before we're busted. The loot is in isles 2, 5, 7 and 9.. Deviate and you will be shot! GO GO GO!' Now if it is a home problem.. THROW IT ALL OUT. Gosh this one was tough for me for sure! I threw away easily about 150 bux worth of food I couldn't eat. (I'm a stocker upper) Though everything that was in packages was given away to another family. You already have your 'goal body pic' so why not print it out, and post it on your fridge, put a copy in your wallet for motivation, and pretty much anywhere else to give you something to focus on while you have a craving... Most likely your going to eat more the first week just because the cravings will make you think you need something, so you'll need to put something GOOD in your mouth to distract yourself. worked for me the first couple days! |

| Do you have a lot of support from other people? That can make it really hard if you don't. You know, people rolling their eyes at you because you're on Atkins, or people who simply don't think you can do it. My suggestion would be to keep a list of the reasons you want to lose the weight and put it everywhere so it stays in the forefront of your mind.
