| Don't depend on those sticks....there are lots of things that go wrong with them...plus...the level of ketosis is not important. The important thing is that you are in ketosis! Keep it up! Regarding the food, just make sure you check the labels and look at the ingredients. Normally those foods you listed are fine. I used Hellman's and had no issues.

| Its so confusing starting out, isn't it? Good luck, and ask lots of questions! (You're on the right track.) Now I'm confused....I thought cottage cheese WASN'T ok during induction?

| Right, sorry...missed the cottage cheese. That's a fresh cheese and I believe it's allowed on the dairy rung.

| Yum, mayo, sausage, and kielbasa, oh my!!!! All of it is fine, except for the cottage cheese. Can't have that until later in the Rungs! And Hellman's is good . . . I personally just use the generic store brand - just no low fat and no Miracle Whip! Go forth and conquer! Stacy

| Hi Sherice The kielbasa we get here has added sugar, so check the ingredients - this is the one thing I buy which is "Light" as they just remove the sugar and don't add in any fillers or anything. Kay

| Hi Sherice Mine is the Hillshire farms one too - look for the light one - 0 carbs and no sugar, the regular has 1 carb per oz from the sugar. Isn't the energy just one of the best feelings - I feel like I could conquer the world most days!! Kay
