| Yes Jen - just concentrate on eating off the allowed list only and with up to 20 net carbs and you wont go wrong. You will find some days when you are hungrier than others and some days you have to make sure you have a small snack under the '6 hours' rule, so your calories will always fluctuate.

| Yes - he suggests weighing before and after the first 14 days in order to get an idea of how easily your body loses weight. There is a chart in DANDR to help you decide this. It is entirely your decision as to how often you weigh after that. Some people find they get discouraged by the normal fluctuations in loss and the many times you will see no losses in weight or even a temporary gain. If you feel this might affect YOU then only weigh every few weeks!! I used to weigh every day and at different times of the day just to get an idea of my 'normal' ups and downs and never got upset by a 3 or 4 pound overnight 'gain' but some people can get tempted to give up if they see this perfectly normal phenomenon. You will have to decide which attitude to take about weighing frequency. I noticed you are restarting counting your 14 days each time you slipped. Though I understand the feeling that you 'ought' to start again, you really need to be comparing the before and after 14 days results as suggested in DANDR to see how metabolically resistant you are to losing weight, so to do that you need to count your 14 days from your 'real' start rather than your restart dates as you havent spent days binging on carbs between restarts. Although your 14-day results wont be 100 percent accurate due to your two small errors they will be much more accurate than taking your 'latest ' start point and a 14 days later result, as you will already have lost weight over the two induction periods before/between slips and this will give a false idea of your weightloss metabolism. So unless you choose to stay on induction for longer than the 14 days just start on OWL after your 'real' 14th day. If we had to restart each time we made a mistake some of us would never finish our 14 days induction period and so would never be able to move through the four stages of Atkins!!!
