Induction Day One!!!

Hi Everyone,

I'm starting the new year off right by starting induction. I did Atkins a few years ago and was really sucessful but went back to my old ways and gained all the weight back.

I've started and stopped Atkins so many times in the past few years I lost count but now I am ready to do it right and for good.

I am really happy to be a part of this board with so many supportive people!

I currently weight 170 and want to lose 40 pounds.

Good luck to you. I am doing it the second time around too and am committed to it this time. Check out the Second Time Around forum. Read the Sticky's about induction flu. Really kept me sane since my flu is a bit different this time. Not as severe but lingering longer.

Thanks Stella. Day one is close to over. I feel great except I have a minor headache. I also signed up for Fitday and love it! So easy to use!

my day 1 is almost over and the headache is gone. i do feel out of sorts and like i'm getting sick (as in a cold sick), but otherwise ok. since it was also my first day back to work after the long holiday, i brought in all of the leftover holiday cookies - they went fast! - and have been packing up the pantry for a hefty donation to my local soup kitchen.

husband is amazed at my willpower, especially since grandma dropped off my favorite Hungarian pastry today. thank goodness it freezes well! looking forward to a successful day 2 and beyond!
